Terms of Service

Welcome to Atrium. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our App, website, and services offered on or through Atrium.

1. Acceptance of the Terms of Service

By using the App, entering through Google sign-in, creating an account, or by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms of Service when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App.

2. Atrium

Atrium is a technology infrastructure connecting independent beauty, wellness, and personal care businesses and professionals ("Organizations" or "Specialists") with clients ("Clients").

Independent Specialists: Atrium does not directly provide beauty or wellness services. All services are performed by independent providers who are solely responsible for service quality, licensing, pricing, and health protocols.

3. Accessing the App and Account Security

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Atrium. You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete account information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Appointments & Handshake Protocol

Bookings operate under the "Two-Way Handshake" protocol where appointment requests become confirmed upon specialist approval or auto-confirmation. Clients and providers agree to adhere to published cancellation and no-show policies.

5. User Content, Reviews & Anonymization

Verified clients may submit ratings, written reviews, sub-scores, and photos. Reviews must be genuine and accurate. By submitting reviews, you grant Atrium a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to display and distribute this content.

Anonymization on Deletion: To protect community trust and historical service metrics, reviews and star ratings are not deleted upon account termination. Instead, your identifying information is permanently replaced with "Atrium User" and unlinked from any future accounts you create.

6. Account Deletion & 7-Day Grace Period

You can request account deletion at any time via Settings. All active blockers (sole organization ownership or upcoming appointments) must be resolved prior to deletion.

When initiated, your account is immediately hidden for a 7-day recovery period. If you log in within 7 days, you can restore your account. After 7 days, your account profile document and authentication records are permanently erased, while past reviews and appointment logs are permanently anonymized to "Atrium User".

7. Prohibited Uses

You may use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree not to use the App:

  • In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
  • To harass, impersonate, stalk, or defraud any user, business, or staff member.
  • To submit fraudulent, fake, or incentivized reviews or manipulate rating systems.
  • To scrape, harvest, or index user or organization data without written consent.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

The App, its software, architecture, designs, trademarks, and branding are owned by Atrium. No title or intellectual property rights are transferred to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

YOUR USE OF THE APP, ITS CONTENT, AND ANY SERVICES OR ITEMS OBTAINED THROUGH THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE APP AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATRIUM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR SERVICES DELIVERED BY INDEPENDENT ORGANIZATIONS.

11. Governing Law

All matters relating to the App and these Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union / Portugal, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law principles.
